When the two of us were writing and recording in our homes the songs that would become Against All Odds in 2018-2021, we had no idea how the world would change by the time of its release. Yet, the Zeitgeist was there and the album is filled with premonitions of the times that were to come. All the subliminal existential dread of the world starting to slowly crumble down got imbued into the music. So was the influence of the artists that always helped us to get through and inspired us in our musical journey - both the classics of the genre such as Death and Nevermore as well as many other modern extreme metal outfits ranging from Gojira to Alcest. The result is what we present to you: an intense and emotional modern death metal LP, with complex arrangements, intricate musicianship, and a relentless approach to heaviness. We invite you to enjoy this blend of aggressive death metal riffs, atmospheric post-metal sections, and unexpected twists and turns to keep the listeners on their toes - a perfect soundtrack for the world going to hell.
